Terms of service

What you get

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use DueTee on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app, or remove any notice from it.

What the app is, and is not

DueTee is an organisational tool. It reads documents you give it and produces reminders. It is not a bill-payment service, a bookkeeping system, or a source of financial, legal, medical, or tax advice, and nothing it produces should be treated as any of those.

Extraction is performed by an automated model and will sometimes be wrong. It may misread an amount, resolve a date incorrectly, or miss a deadline entirely. Checking that a due date is correct, and meeting it, remains your responsibility. We are not liable for a missed payment, a late fee, a lapsed policy, an expired licence, a missed appointment, or any other consequence of relying on the app.

Subscriptions

DueTee Pro is an auto-renewing subscription offered monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.

• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the rate then shown.
• Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies, not by us. We cannot issue them.

We may change prices or what is included in Pro. Changes are announced in advance and never apply to a period you have already paid for.

Your content and your API key

Documents you capture remain yours. We claim no rights over them and, as set out in the privacy policy, never receive them.

You are responsible for having the right to capture and process the documents you give the app. If you supply your own Gemini API key, you are responsible for that key, for the charges it incurs, and for complying with Google's terms.

Acceptable use

Do not use DueTee to break the law, to process documents you have no right to, to attempt to disrupt the service, or to work around its technical limits. We may end your licence if you do.

Third-party services

The app depends on services we do not control, chiefly Apple iCloud and Google's Gemini API. Interruptions, changes, or discontinuations in those services may affect the app, and we are not responsible for them.

No warranty

DueTee is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RebelDowner is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for DueTee in the twelve months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

Apple

Apple is not a party to this agreement and has no obligation to provide support for DueTee. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim that the app fails to conform to a warranty may be directed to Apple for a refund of the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation.

Ending it

You can stop at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription through Apple. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lesotho. Where mandatory consumer law in your own country gives you stronger rights, those rights still apply.

Changes

Updated terms will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use DueTee after that means you accept them.
